Review on CRAFTSMAN Socket Metric 6 Point CMMT44426 by Daniel Oliver

I gave a gift 5 stars but if you give someone an outlet don't be surprised if they give you a duster! This is the master socket. It is designed for a ⅜ drive ratchet and an 8mm hex. So it is exactly as advertised. But. I worked in the hardware department at Sears when I was in college (yes, that was about 30 years ago). I like this socket light for its size, and the chrome finish doesn't feel as hard, strong, and smooth as I would have expected. My husband has vintage Craftsman sockets of similar sizes so I know what they used to look like. But as long as they do their job, functionality takes precedence over aesthetics.
