Great for my big chili pot. I usually make a large pot of chili, 6 to 8 liters. I bought an 8 liter tank and it works great. I wish it was a little shorter, but if you need that much storage space and want it shorter, get a 12 liter bin instead. When purchasing a cap, be sure to choose the correct liter count as they look the same but the circumference will vary by size. The 8 liter lid is suitable for the 6 liter jar as it is shorter than the 8 liter jar. The chili peppers I made didn't stain the plastic. I found it difficult to put it in the dishwasher due to the height. It is BPA free thick plastic.
