Not bad, but definitely better wrist protection. A wrist guard with three turns and Velcro protects much better. There is only one strap that runs from the middle to the bottom of the cape. It is very awkward and difficult to get through the loop. The elastane fabric around the top of the wrist does not appear to be a reliable protection against injury as it is very stretchy. In my opinion it will not hold your wrists securely to avoid strain or breakage. Although the metal bar on the bottom is solid.
