This is an excellent pan for cheese fondue. It has a ceramic steamer insert for use with cheese to prevent cheese from burning to the bottom. Works very well, does not burn. American Test Kitchen reviewed and highly recommended this fondue pot. Your recommendation was good for me. If you have an old-style heated fondue pot or don't have a steamer, then you know the sticking problem well. With this pot you can leave all that in the past.
