Used for copper tubing leading to the toilet. The outside diameter of this pad is slightly smaller than the pad I replaced. (this was installed in 1964 and is made of chrome steel). So, for me at least, a touch up is needed. Another point about the guy in the hyperlink above is that the metal they are made of is very thin and can bend easily even if you try to be careful.
