This is a good spotting scope for distance shooting. It's sharp enough and has enough range to see my results at the other end of my range, which is 200 yards. You need to put it on the included tripod and place it on a stable table/platform as even the slightest movement will really shake the object you are looking at. Once you've got it properly focused you can just move your eye to the eyepiece (without touching it) and you'll have a very clear picture of your results. I'm sure with a steady hand you can hold it for the wild too. highlighted.
