This makes common slicing (and grating) operations so easy. wife uses it all the time. A word of caution: the blade is sharp! Use this tool to hold what you're cutting or tread carefully. It would be easy to remove your fingertip if you are not careful. But it's that sharpness that makes it such a treat.
