Review on 📻 BAOFENG UV-5X (UV-5G) GMRS Radio: Long Range, NOAA Alerts, Rechargeable, Chirp Support - 1 Pair by David Elam

I bought these radios to prepare for a search and rescue situation. I studied the reviews and features of this device, and it seemed to me that it fits into the checklist. Two-way band, ability to work with GMRS repeaters. The problem I had was that these radios could not be programmed. This means he didn't download the "Chirp" pattern and couldn't program the channels. I don't know if those actual elements were broken in his software, so I tried a second device but got the same results. If your radio can't be programmed it can just be used as a basic walkie talkie, which wasn't my only goal. Yes they are reasonably priced and appear to be of good quality but unfortunately I can only give 3 stars due to the issues I have encountered.
