My wife and I bought a Bissell 2259 and although it has worked great we have a few pets in our small house. You can imagine how much fur is flying around. I had to constantly stop and pull the clogged fur out of all the holes, and finally the day came when disassembling the entire vacuum resulted in a snapped belt. We panicked about having to buy another vacuum because we thought changing the belt might be a waste of time (worried it might break again) but this new belt fits like a charm and works great. We are very glad we chose this and didn't buy a new vacuum cleaner.
