Review on 🍾 Houdini Black Wine Bottle Foil Cutter - Bar Accessories, 2.5 inches by April Knowles

I think this foil cutter has a design problem. The manufacturer has chosen to launch it with just two cutting discs instead of the four that everyone else uses. Instead of the two "missing" wheels, there are two raised plastic pads that are supposedly placed to center the cutter on the bottleneck. Unfortunately, those two plastic pads aren't big enough to get the job done. If the top of the bottleneck is even slightly rounded, as is the case with most bottles, this will cause the foil cutter to tilt and rise and tend to slip off the bottleneck when rotated. Also, when the foil cutter has 4 cutting discs, it only takes a ¼ turn for the cuts to start overlapping, making the job quicker and easier. Finally, the cutter wheels aren't set to rotate during use, so I'd expect the single point of contact with the glass bottle neck to dull fairly quickly. I suppose you could loosen the bolts and turn the unused portion of the circumference and then retighten the bolt to prolong the life of the cutting discs when they become dull. We have to pay tribute to the "soft" surface of this slide. The cutter offers a good grip on the handle, is durable and appears to be built to last. But I can't imagine why the manufacturer only uses two wheels and mounts them so that they don't rotate when cutting.
