Review on Desmond DPLEX-50 Twin/Dual Duplex Clamp Set with Arca Compatibility for Subtending/Bi-Directional Use - 50mm by Louis Turley

I bought a Desmound DPLEX-50 for studio installation so I can mount my L bracket camera on the Arca QR rail. For reasons too complicated to go into, the only solution I could think of was to fold two QR clips at 90 degrees to each other. I have found several clamp assemblies made for this including the DPLEX-50. I was a little skeptical because at $29.95 it costs 45% less than a similar clip from my popular Sunwayfoto brand. I'm glad I tried the Desmound DPLEX-50. I am very happy with the quality and versatility. Alignment pins ensure accurate terminal alignment and allow for three configurations. A 3/8" hex head screw keeps them securely connected. Long 1.25" clamp screws make it easy to open and close the jaws in tight spaces. That's a great clamp. I would buy it again.
