Review on ๐Ÿ”ฉ SNUG Fasteners SNG1069: Stainless Steel Three Prong Tee Nuts - 100 Count Bulk Pack by Roger Sanders

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Incorrect thread pitch. It is actually 10-24

It is actually 304 stainless steel and the tips are sharp. They might fit but the threads are wrong. I've tried installing a 10-32 bolt and it WILL NOT be threaded. The only way I can thread a 10-32 screw in is if I thread my own 10-32 tap. I don't use many 10-24 bolts, so I don't have any available checked the threads with both a thread gauge (I only have metric threads, no SAE gauges) and a 10-24 tap. The 10-24- Taps fit these threads perfectly and the closest metric pitch I could find for these threads is 1.00mm which is close to 24TPI. I don't know where the error came from, but I definitely got 10-24 threaded nuts, NOT 10-32 as listed, not sure if the other reviewer who upvoted them received a different batch (with correct threads from 10 -32), or he just didn't check his nuts with screws 10-32. It's a little difficult to get the thread pitch right in the photos - I've tried, but it's hard to capture on camera. thread count is correct. Overall, I was very disappointed with this "SNUG FASTENERS" brand. I have received a few of their products for review and only ONE of them has so far met the advertised specification for material composition and dimensional tolerances exactly! I would not trust this brand in the future. They appear to be a US based importer of cheap bulk Asian goods. They're based in Tennessee and seem to import and repackage a bunch of cheap Asian stuff - they also seem to operate under the names: BC Precision; sharpened SEIDO; fasteners BKP; VOLVE accuracy; zenization. If they show the same care and quality control for their other brands as they do for SNUG FASTENERS, I would avoid them all.
