We were looking for real flickering lights - everything you can find on the market says flickering but actually flickers. I hate that. Instead of a gentle flicker they flash like a cheap SALE SALE sign! So we found it and thought all our wishes had come true! But not "blink" really. To me, twinkle means "blinking" random individual bulbs at different times at a leisurely pace to create a beautiful, soft star effect. The best we could get was slo-glo or slo-fade modes, where the entire filament does a fade in and fade out at the same time, rather than a single bulb action. It was beautiful so we enjoyed our tree this Christmas. :) The strand was long and one strand was enough for our 7ft tree which was a plus. . Good quality too - the bulbs were a warm "winter white", not white or overly bright/fluorescent. We will definitely continue to use real twinkle lights in our quests!
