I just finished installing these BOXI jacks on my 2012 Kia Sorento SX. down and hit me on the head. The Kia dealer wanted about $250. I said no thanks for parts and installation. I'm definitely a DIY woman so I decided to give it a try. I recommend having an assistant for safety, but since I didn't have one, I used a 6-foot ladder frame to support the tailgate. Looked extremely strong. Then, after overcoming my initial concern that the props would fly off with my head, I followed the instructions and removed the old props and installed the new ones. Took about 15 minutes and they work great! The new feet raise the tailgate about 2 inches higher but still expose the top of the frame. I am very happy with them and I highly recommend them.
