Very cool. I installed this in the house and it worked great in the house. I took the block to the garage and nothing. so i discovered at least two things: if both the base and end units are connected to the power supply on the same side of the switch box, that's great. If the base is powered on one side of the panel and the termination unit is on the other side, it will not work. They are ideal for a large house, second or third floor, etc. If your garage has mains electricity on the other side of the electrical box. not as much. I guess most houses won't have this problem, but mine was built in the 50's and it's possible the wiring of things is/was different. However, the actual results in the household are impressive. It didn't work in my particular situation, which is why I gave it four stars, but I think for the incredibly vast majority of users, this is a great solution. For you techies, the blocks themselves act as a bridge across the power supply rather than creating another network or subnet. Great for LAN shares like file sharing, cameras, etc. Four thumbs up.
