Review on 🔋 Dorman 577-106 Fuel Tank Roll Over Valve for Chevrolet/GMC Models with OE FIX by Mike Sevenfourgd

When I installed the fuel tank and fuel pump removal item, the gasket did not fit properly even though I followed the instructions exactly. I called Dorman Technical Support and was told that the instructions that came with my kit (2016 revision) were incorrect and had been updated to the 2018 revision, completely changing the rubber grommet location. Accompanying this review is a photo of the revised instructions, available in PDF format from the Dormans website, and a snapshot of the instructions included with the kit. I had to take the fuel pump out again and reinstall it with the rubber gasket inside where it fits neatly into the groove on the valve and gaskets. If you were unable to catch this and installed it as the instructions that came with it say, you have a leak and a potential P0440 code set. Also, it fit and worked well on my daughter's 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT 4.2L when the fuel filler neck cracked. There are some good videos on YouTube to refer to while you work.
