It's only been a few days. Seems to be a good sensor but the app drains the battery badly. My phone keeps flagging this app as over-discharging and killing it. When I run it, it takes many attempts before it reconnects to the sensor. I suppose that would sort itself out if I bought the gateway as well, but $170 + tax just to get a sensor working is way too much. I need this for temperature and humidity threshold notifications that don't work when the app is closed due to too much battery drain. The app polls the sensor every few seconds, which is likely to drain the battery. I can live with a lower frequency, but there doesn't seem to be a place in the app to adjust the polling interval to see if that helps with the battery issue. I've tried connecting it to my Samsung smartphones but it doesn't seem to support it.
