It's only been a few days. Seems to be a good sensor but the app drains the battery badly. My phone keeps flagging this app as over-discharging and killing it. When I run it, it takes many attempts before it reconnects to the sensor. I suppose that would sort itself out if I bought the gateway as well, but $170 + tax just to get a sensor working is way too much. I need this for temperature and humidity threshold notifications that don't work when the app is closed due to too much battery drain.

I started using these with the Gateway around our house to keep track of things when I'm not home. Then I bought an RV temperature control kit away from it since we have a pet inside. Very easy to set up and the gateway even works with the usually poor RV park WiFi. When I was looking for humidity sensors for the house and gun safe, I initially skipped the SensorPush products because of the price and decided on something cheaper. I ended up returning the cheaper ones and got the SensorPush and I'm so glad I did! The SensorPush are definitely the best on the market and worth the extra cost. I really like this sensor, mostly because many developers of these app-based smart objects put little or no focus on providing the customer with a reliable and quality experience. It's easy to set up, multiple instructions are well-written, and it doesn't require a lot of trial and error (like other products do). I've been using this device for a little over a month and I'm very satisfied with the device and the good overall design of the app. I use SensorPush to monitor the temperature and relative humidity in my scanning room after encapsulating it. After following the instructions on the SensorPush website, I received a rel. The humidity was calibrated but was already within 3% of the correct reading (using the salt test) out of the box, so I'm comfortable with the initial accuracy of this device was
