The kit did not include the required charger.

There is a warning label in the box that says 'Warning! Only charge the product with a charger with an output of 5V. Charging with an unsuitable charger can cause damage during the charging process and void the warranty. Notes: Unsuitable refers to chargers with an output voltage greater than 5V. Notes: The output voltage rating is usually marked on the charger faceplate. Therefore. So far the product works perfectly. The 3 star rating refers to a warning I saw one day when I received the item. I believe the warning should have been clearly stated as part of the product listing.
