I had a 2.4GHz wireless adapter but it never gave me more than 50% of the bandwidth I subscribed to. I decided to try this product simply because the size of this product is much smaller than my old one. To my surprise, this not only solved my space problem (the old one always occupied two USB slots because of its bulbous size), but also gave off a great signal. I ran speed tests with the new adapter, I got 100% of the throughput I logged in the first time. I love it! While it's not a plug-and-play device, installation isn't difficult. Even if you don't have a CD-ROM drive, you can easily download and install the driver. This is a great product at a reasonable price. I keep both fingers crossed!
