I won't measure but I see the female thread isn't 10g but for the distance and current I'm drawing it will work. Crimps usually work with the appropriate crimping tool. The zip ties are rubbish, both broke before I could tie them on. Hot wire is flexible but grippy. It was very painful to pull. If you just need to hook up a couple of tubes or a small amp, that's fine. It comes with everything you need, just grab some decent zip ties. I wouldn't recommend it for some serious subsystems.
