Review on 🧵 Enhance Machine Embroidery with the Snap Hoop Monster for Baby Lock/Brother (8"x8") by Heather Shaw

This is my first review as I just opened the hoop. I'll check again when I've actually used it. The magnets appear to be very strong and a spacer is included when the hoop is not in use. A good thing. What I don't like is that for the price of this tire we have to put a tape measure (centered) on all 4 sides of the top of the tire. Now it's not so easy to center it. This should have been done at the factory. At least one center mark had to be placed on all 4 sides. If you're paying over $160 for a hoop, you don't have to finish it! I can only hope I did it right. I will come back and update this review after using it several times. just annoying. UPDATE: No matter how hard I try, the centering straps aren't perfect. If I mark my design with a grid (which also doesn't fit in that "square" ring because the grid tool has rounded corners and doesn't fit in the square ring) and I get the center of the crosshair lines and map that to the tire marks; I put the tire in the machine but the center is not centered at all. The only positive is that the magnets are strong and hold the terry well. I will find another way to mark the tire to be exact. If accuracy isn't important to you, you'll probably like this. It still annoys me that I had to finish what should have been done at the factory. My husband is a carpenter and I know none of his appliances and accessories go this route. This centering tape makes the tire look messy. Really overpriced for magnets and plastic.
