I really like my magnetic hoop, I really have to laugh because I ordered 8x8 and they sent me 7x12. This magnetic frame lets you quilt like a pro with long arm style machine stitches. The magnets are strong enough to hold the quilted sandwich. It's also strong enough to hold thick terry bath towels as well as heavy stabilizer during machine embroidery.

I love knitting and embroidering quilts. It has a strong hold and the quilt does not require stabilizer, making it easy to move between embroideries. When storing, be sure to use the included plastic wrap between the top and bottom so you can separate the parts. Should you ever touch your fingers between the top and bottom, you will make sure in the future never to repeat this experience (very strong magnets). This made it easier to quilt my blankets. I have not had any success with this product. Every time I get a job in design, it makes a weird noise and throws it out of sync. I called the manufacturer and they didn't help me because I bought from Revain and not a registered retailer. I asked my local dealer and he doesn't sell this product and when I said I bought the 8x8 size they deliberately shook their head and said their other customers had issues with that size. This is my first review as I just opened the hoop. I'll check again when I've actually used it. The magnets appear to be very strong and a spacer is included when the hoop is not in use. A good thing. What I don't like is that for the price of this tire we have to put a tape measure (centered) on all 4 sides of the top of the tire. Now it's not so easy to center it. This should have been done at the factory. At least one center mark had to be placed on all 4 sides. If you're paying over $160…
