Decent webcam for the price

Image quality is quite good, even in low light conditions. In my case, I'm in a basement with some light from a window and a small ceiling light behind me, and I think the picture quality is still pretty decent. However, for some odd reason, Windows 10 only offers me 1440p video resolution (although I was offered 4k resolution for snapshots). This may be because I've used a Depstech 2K wide-angle webcam (D09) in the past. I haven't tried to go into the essentials as the image quality at 1440p seems good enough for my purposes. The sound also makes a decent impression. I also tried it on Ubuntu 21.04 and although it recognized it and offered me 4k video resolution, the video mode was unusable at <1fps. I don't think it's the camera as I've had issues with Ubuntu and other webcams. Since it comes out of the box with Windows, I'll blame Ubuntu for that. The included tripod makes a fairly stable impression for its size. I don't really need it yet, but maybe one day it will be useful for me. I definitely see uses for it. While it wasn't included, the ability to screw the camera onto a tripod is definitely a plus and might come in handy for someone. All in all, I'm pleasantly surprised given the price.
