. I need this to implement RAID5 with 1GB cache acceleration on my QNAP. I tried it first and failed when I realized that I need 8GB of RAM for my application. The device version I bought was only 1GB. The form, fit and function were perfect as it fitted easily into the disc tray. The kit included all the mounting hardware needed for my installation. After some minor changes to the system configuration settings to speed up caching and a reboot, my device fully recognized the QNAP adapter (itself set to RAID0) and both SSDs and restored caching acceleration.
