I grew up with their flatter steel version. I went in search of one of these this strawberry season and ordered this one instead. I won't look back! Fast and efficient. He "plucks" out a cone-shaped area. I've used it on a few pounds of strawberries as well as a few tomatoes. I only gave it a 4/5 for easy cleaning. Small pieces of fruit tend to get stuck inside and are difficult to get out without hitting the sharp parts.
