Review on ECCPP Lift Supports Gas Springs Shocks for Nissan Maxima 2004-2008 (Without Spoiler) - Compatible with 4078 Strut Set of 2 by Tyler Kota

Extremely easy installation on my 04 Maxima. I used Leatherman pliers to loosen the clips on the old posts, removed the old posts from the spheres and pushed the new posts in by hand. My trunk used to be literally a guillotine. If opened all the way it would have stayed upright, but otherwise it would have collapsed with frightening force. There's a small spoiler on the back of my trunk lid. doesn't open either. I still have to lift. If I lift it halfway, it will quickly lift the rest of the way. When it's half open at the bottom, it's perfectly still. It takes a little pressure to close. It was exactly what I needed. And for the price, I'm happy even if they only last a year. Buy with confidence, 6th generation Maxima owners!
