Fits Nissan Maxima SL 2007.

They fit my 2007 Nissan Maxima SL perfectly. They look just like the originals and support the trunk well. To remove the old supports I used a screwdriver and a hammer and just "popped" the ends of the ball. To mount the new ones I added some grease (they come pre-greased but it's very little of it) and used pliers to press the knuckle against the ball.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Stands are good for lifting legs

Easy installation. It only took a minute for each site to remove the old ones and a few seconds to install the new ones. hope they hold up. I had another brand that lasted a little less than a year. The trick that worked for me to remove the old ones was to use a small flathead screwdriver with a small hammer to remove the clips holding the posts. To install new ones, all it takes is a hit with a hammer or a piece of wood with a hammer.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Works great, I thought it was difficult to install

The boot lid on my child's 2005 Maxima was a guillotine. When I bought these, which should have been a simple process, testing took almost an hour. I couldn't figure out the clips - how to take them out and put them back in without damaging them. Instructions are not included. I've sorted out some YouTube videos but not the best design even though it's an "industry standard". After all, the trunk lid is now held without slamming.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Negative impression

A little tricky to install but the product works once installed

The product works but the clips are not exactly OEM and required some fiddling with a screwdriver to install. Videos I've found on the web show the elements snapping into place, but the items sent don't snap into place until I partially remove the clips and pry them back with a screwdriver. The spare parts were obviously fake. Once installed they work perfectly and the trunk no longer falls on my head when I load it.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Sparse instructions

The quality is excellent and the price is low. Thank you EECCP

The trunk stays purchased from ECCPP fit my Nissan 04 Maxima perfectly and perform all the functions expected. The dealership wanted over $200 for genuine Nissan struts, which I don't think work any better than your shocks, and I only paid about $20 for them. Folks these dealers are plagiarism. When I called the Nissan dealer to inquire about the shocks and he quoted me a price, I thought he would quote me a price for the front hood shocks and rear luggage racks. Can you imagine my surprise…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Small things

Exactly what I needed

Extremely easy installation on my 04 Maxima. I used Leatherman pliers to loosen the clips on the old posts, removed the old posts from the spheres and pushed the new posts in by hand. My trunk used to be literally a guillotine. If opened all the way it would have stayed upright, but otherwise it would have collapsed with frightening force. There's a small spoiler on the back of my trunk lid. doesn't open either. I still have to lift. If I lift it halfway, it will quickly lift the rest of the…
