I've been making coffee in a French Press for a long time. Burr mill, Starbucks Pike Place, whole grains, whole chunks. I used to have single cup coffee makers but I could never get the flavor I wanted out of it so I reverted to French ones. I thought of Keurig but it was too expensive. It has the option of using K cups OR ground coffee AND it doesn't cost too much. I wasn't sure about all the 5 star reviews as most were free. I tried it and I have to say I'm very happy with it. When I grind my own, I do it pretty well, and the result is a French Press-like drink that needs a medium grind to be about right. When I use a K cup it's almost the same, but not quite. I had a problem at the beginning and nearly deducted a star. I didn't have an instruction manual. But the seller was helpful and I finally got a PDF manual so I'm happy now. Overall I am very happy with this coffee maker. Mainly because it's a lot quicker and easier than messing around with a French Press, and makes coffee MUCH better than a full-size coffee maker, or an extra, or camp, right? Currently. If it continues, it will determine how good he really is.
