Ultra is the new super. When you look at it, this is definitely a cool looking product. If there is such a thing as a tool design award, this blade deserves it. It also seems very thin and light. But the ends are thicker. My Makita T-01410 40T Fine Crosscutting Blade is actually thinner with the entire blade being the same width. Norske cuts great. But let's face it: They all do when they're new. I'm not a Makita fan. For example, I think their drills are inferior. But so far I'm very happy with the Makita blades. I don't push my tools to the limit. My saw works one to two hours a week. But I need precision. If you are looking for a new blade then this is good. I wouldn't replace an existing blade based on the promise it makes. This is a good blade. If the price is reasonable, there is nothing wrong with it. Hope this helps with the decision.
