No backup if batteries die or engine fails

I bought these locks thinking I could add key cylinders to them. It turns out that this is impossible - even a small disassembly of the lock will not allow replacing the mute cylinder with a real one. It broke the deal for me. I've had several keypad locks, and in every case, at least once the battery suddenly failed, or in one case the motor failed. Without a spare key I would have to hire someone to come out and pick the lock or do other destructive things to get into the room that would be inaccessible. It broke the deal for me. Unfortunately, Yale does not make key cam locks that work with Augustus.
