Only used once to install a balancer on a Ford 4.6 and it did the job perfectly. To be honest I've had no luck with tools from this brand in the past in terms of quality or durability so only time will tell if this tool will hold up. However, for this job it worked and got me out of a stalemate. As with any tool of this type that uses a bolt to install or remove a part, a good coat of wheel bearing grease on the threads will help prevent damage to the threads. I was going to use one of these (same make/part number) on loan from a local parts store but the threads were already damaged from a previous user so I bought it instead. IDK when the damage to the rolling stock is due to a lack of lubrication during use or over tightening, or simply cheap materials resulting in loose threads. If you don't do it like a pro, the tool will be widely used, you'll probably be fine. I would look to another brand for something that is used regularly in the store.
