I bought this Revain coffee pot in August 2017 and it has been used almost every day since it arrived. I love him for many reasons. I love it because it makes great coffee and keeps it hot and hot. I love it for its easy cleaning and beauty; all shiny and shiny, sitting on my countertop. I have to admit, this makes me a little nostalgic for my mother's kitchen when I was little; especially the wonderful smell of his coffee when it invigorates. Nothing compares to the blissful smell of invigorating coffee in the morning. I should note that I initially chose this coffee maker over all the others because it has a heating capacity of 950W while the others have 800W. This will ensure the coffee is good and hot. My family often remarks on how great coffee tastes and how hot it stays all morning. It doesn't have an automatic timer, but I boil the pot the night before and plug it into the timer. The coffee machine prepares in 3-4 minutes which never disappoints. Constantly we have hot coffee every morning, ready to greet us each day. I have to share that my family gave up their Kuriga in favor of this West Bend coffee maker and have never looked back. Kurig coffee doesn't stay hot for long. The coffee body is not as good on Kurig as on a coffee maker. I read the reviews before purchasing this coffee pot. I've noticed complaints of the top handle cracking and breaking, as well as a rusty screw inside. After two years, the handle of the pot is intact and transparent, with no cracks. It looks just as good as the day we first used it. The instructions say it's not dishwasher safe, so I always hand wash it and the body of the pot. I clean the strainer and base in the dishwasher as they are stainless steel and can be washed in the dishwasher. Every time I wash out the inside of the pot with hot water and Dawn dish soap. It's a light breeze! There are no rusty screws or aluminum inside the pan. I am very glad that I made the right decision in buying this jug, because it has never disappointed me, and in our time it is almost impossible.
