Review on ๐Ÿ”ง 1-3 Inch Leveling Lift Kit by MotoFab Lifts | Compatible with Chevy Silverado Sierra GMC 2500HD 3500HD | Includes Shock Extenders by Julian Banks

Very decent kit so far

Installed on 08 Sierra 2500HD Cute details, cut outs and edges appeared to be well made followed by a black finish. The packaging was excellent. Looks like the torsion was a good fit. I have to remove the lower arm because one of the side straps is stuck in the arm. If the torsion bar is movable, you should be able to release the tension with a tool and then move the bar forward. The key was rusted on one side and it was very difficult to remove the old key. Lots of heat and a PB blaster along with key tapping. After everything was assembled, the front end appears to have risen 2 inches just to sit on the semi-circular T-bar that holds the bolt. The screw isn't even screwed in deep enough. Press any button up and its position is 2 inches higher. This results in the bolt being too long and sticking out from under the cross member. I replaced the bolts with a SS M12 x 1.75 40mm bolt and nut. The bolt is threaded so that it just touches the wrench and the nut is threaded onto the shank for a snug fit and to prevent the bolt from falling out due to vibration. Use a deep socket to lightly turn and tighten the nut and bolt. The bolt is approximately flush with the bottom of the cross member. It is believed that front end alignment changes ride quality and axle angles, leading to more wear on the hub bearings. I didn't want more than about 2"
