We recently gave our old i-mac 350 OS X Jaguar desktop computer to our 8 year old daughter. It was hardwired to the D-Link wireless router, but should now connect itself to the wireless network. The computer doesn't have a slot for a wireless PCI card, and the operating system doesn't recognize the USB port as a source for a network device, so we needed a bridge to connect the wireless network to Ethernet. I bought it because we were already using D-Link and thought it would reduce the chance of any compatibility issues. Another factor was that price-wise it was one of the cheapest. I brought it home, plugged it into a power source, plugged it into a computer and we were online. It's been a month now and it's working perfectly.
