Review on Children's 2-wheeled city scooter TechTeam City Scooter 2020, white by Mateusz Mazurkiewicz ᠌

The goods are normal, money is not wasted!

I almost didn’t ride it, I didn’t have time, the snow had already fallen, I couldn’t go until spring. On the box with the name of this scooter, the permissible weight is up to 80 kg. And on the steering wheel of the scooter there is a sticker where it is written that the maximum allowable weight is up to 100 kg. What to believe, 80 or 100, is unclear. But if I broke the deck of the Ridex Apollo scooter with my 75 kg after four months of daily trips, then the City Scooter probably has up to 80 kg.

Pros
  • The steering wheel is high, it is convenient for me, an adult, from 180 cm. Good wheels and bearings, there is a rear shock absorber.
Cons
  • I immediately unscrewed the footboard, it was screwed so that it could touch the unevenness of the asphalt. The folding mechanism is unreliable, I know this from two of my other scooters: Capella Town Rider and Ridex Apollo with the same folding system. The folding mechanism at the Ridex Apollo lasted only three months, and then began to fold itself. Capella Town Rider, so after two weeks it split into two parts, the steering wheel separately, the deck separately. It is necessary to take a drill, drill a hole where the folding mechanism is, insert a screw with a nut into it, then it holds securely, but the scooter can no longer be folded. Manufacturer, is it really so difficult to guess how to make a scooter that doesn’t have a folding system at all, that doesn’t fold? The folding system for scooters of any brand is their big drawback, which you have to fix yourself.
