Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

My cloning turned out to be very original. I did not have a special box for connecting to the laptop's USB port. I did it through Optibay, which I installed instead of the already unnecessary DVD-RW drive. The Data Migration program easily saw that the SSD drive was present. The volume of the SSD 870 EVO turned out to be 931.5 GB. Cloned only the system partition C: \ for 228 GB, which took 1 hour and 6 minutes. Then I moved the SSD to the laptop in place of the HDD. The laptop booted up without problems. Windows 10. Only now the download takes 15 seconds, and the shutdown takes 5-7 seconds. Before replacing the HDD with an SSD, the laptop boot lasted two, three minutes, and sometimes the download took five minutes, and turning it off did not turn off at all ! It was simply unbearable to watch. Now everything is smart! Even ordinary programs run many times faster. I definitely recommend 870 EVO for purchase!

Samsung honestly indicates the characteristics of its SSD drives and what hardware stuffing is used. Therefore, if it is indicated that this model uses TLC 3D V-NAND memory, then this is 100% TLC memory, and not QLC, which is often slipped into inexpensive SSD drives, and users are not even informed about this. As a result, an inexpensive SSD drive may simply not meet your expectations: the resource will be "wrong", and the speeds will be "wrong". Of course, a lot still depends on the controller and buffer memory, but this 870 EVO model has everything worthy: a new 8-channel MKX controller of its own production, DDR4 buffer memory of 1 GB, a write resource of 600 TBW, which is very, very worthy. In addition, the advantages include its own Data Migration program (you must download it from the official website), which is very easy to work with: you specify the system partition and select an SSD drive.
