Review on Protect and Transport Your Garmin eTrex with this Durable Carrying Case by Raymond Iglesias

Bought to replace the old model of this product. This one is improved in terms of design. The sides and bottom are sewn "more square" to make it feel less bulky. One was slightly rounded when the device was in, making it bulky. It's still bulky compared to nothing, but the design of this model is better. They also improved some of the screen coverage. Previously, the screen was slightly covered with a lid, but on this model the screen area is larger. However, some of the same problems remain. In my opinion, a tight fit is good, but inserting a device is quite difficult. And repeated getting in and out can weaken the protective rubber sides of the Garmin device itself. This happened on my previous case and I actually had to re-stick the rubber on the device. In addition, the case comes very close to the small multifunction button on the front of the device. The button is harder to press when the case is so close to it. The case should probably have a larger cutout area that allows the button to move more freely. I ended up having to replace my old one because the stitching in the leather case came undone on the belt clip. I've really benefited a lot from it, and the product is inexpensive, so it's not that big of a deal. But I need to follow this up for a similar problem. All in all, it's better than having nothing, even if it's not the best tote bag. Unity (2010). The problem is that the seams on the clip open too easily due to the repeated clipping and unclipping of the strap on my backpack. The strap is nylon, so you'd think that's the typical material it attaches to, but after a year or so of buckles and unbuckles on my bag, the stitching would rip and the thing would be almost impossible to use . The price is ok but the quality is not very good.
