I bought this mount mainly because I wanted to have my GPSr handy when hiking, but also on the go and still get a signal. Thing is, I'm a hideout, and I do that quite often. I bought this for a Garmin eTrex 30 Edge.2. The built-in clip on the back works great and is stable. What I don't like: 1. The shape of the lid allows access to the navigation button on the front of the eTrex. I found it a little inconvenient at first because the cover is right next to the button, but it actually worked in the wild. It fits quite well, although it could be a little tighter.2. Bought to replace the old model of this product. This one is improved in terms of design. The sides and bottom are sewn "more square" to make it feel less bulky. One was slightly rounded when the device was in, making it bulky. It's still bulky compared to nothing, but the design of this model is better. They also improved some of the screen coverage.
