The design seems pretty rigid. I had it in the brush and .

The design of the clamshell sink, the design looks rather rigid. I had this in my brush and dropped it multiple times with no visible damage. This adds a bit of bulk to my GPS and almost makes it a little uncomfortable to hold in my hand for long periods of time, but since I use a clamp this isn't often an issue. I replaced the camouflage cord with a reflective one to make it easier for me to drop it in the woods. I have to hold both latches firmly to keep the case snug against the GPS. This is my main complaint about the case. Since it's a shell, it doesn't exactly match. You must use a mount to apply tension and prevent the GPS from falling out. As long as I use both retainers I don't have any problems, but to be on the safe side I check to see if they fit.
