The only downsides are the cost and a slight lack of clarity in the instructions. But I've only installed one faucet so far, so experienced folks will probably find it a no-brainer. When installing the lowering lever, there is a nylon washer next to the nylon ball, but it is not shown in the instructions. The washer looks symmetrical, but it looks like I have to flip it to get it right. It's very well made, there's no play anywhere and all you need are a few tools and some putty.
