During the rebuild, only use this tool for about a minute to press the dust seals onto the fork legs. It takes some body weight to slide them into place, but the tool makes it incredibly easy. At first I was outraged by the price of such a simple tool, but it really made the process easier. I travel a lot and will certainly rebuild again in the future and knowing I've already bought a tool all I have to do is buy seals and oil and then I'm good to go.
