Good price but check your sizes

I bought these to make inlays with a laser cutter. For the price they are a good option. TL version; DR below. Pros: They have a really attractive grain on almost every part. There are a few machining marks here and there, but every part I've checked has at least one perfect side. They are cheap. I paid 40 cents each which is now an excellent price for attractive plywood. Polished smooth. They're not what you would call "finished" but they were pretty smooth right out of the box. I was able to go straight to 600 grit sandpaper. Cons: Prone to bending/warping. That was to be expected at this thickness, but two of the first four pieces I pulled out of the box had significant flex; one bent, one twisted. thickness difference. I did some random measurements and while most of them showed my calipers to be around 1.4mm, a pair is closer to 1.3. If you need very precise thickness throughout the project, this deviation may not be acceptable. burn marks. When staining the natural color of the wood, the burn marks of the manufacturer's laser cutter are very noticeable, making about 4-5 mm of the board edge unusable. aspect ratio. 17 of the 20 pieces in my pack are not 200 x 100mm but 100 x 200mm with the wood grain running parallel to the short side of the board, not the long side. It's not a big deal for my application, but if it's important to you, you might not be sure what you're getting here. TL; DR: Pros: Good grit, cheap, smooth finish for a quick finish. , change in thickness, misdirection of fibers
