I have some small Irwin brand clamps that I use all the time and wanted to get a larger version of the same type to use instead of some c-clamps that I currently do. When I opened the box, some of the little pieces to cover adjustment screws had already fallen out and the slider bars were practically dripping in some type of light oil. After putting them back together as needed and cleaning them up. they actually do work pretty well, holding tight and not slipping once clamped. Overall, its just a matter of you get what you pay for!
