I did my first HD 10K oil change. I bought one of these from an HD dealer and it was $1 for a motor oil plug. I thought why not just buy 10 if I need them for primary and transmission. I'm glad I did this as my engine's oil plug o-ring was brittle and disappeared when I unscrewed the oil plug. The same, but not as fragile, for the gearbox primary and oil plugs. To be on the safe side just buy 10 of these and just replace them all as you don't want to find out you have an oil leak after an oil change. I bought 10 for $3 and free shipping. Keep them out of the sun and they will last a long time.
