Review on Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic 195/60 R15 88T winter by Mateusz Odachowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

Auto: Ford Probe I, manual transmission, size 195/65 R15 There are no stabilization systems and other electronics, one "bare" ABS. I drive in St. Petersburg, Leningrad region, M10-M11 highway. It rows perfectly in snow and porridge, slows down on icing, is controlled on snowy ice. Parking in the snow, given our low landing, and then leaving from there is easy. It wobbles a bit in snow/ice ruts, but the sidewalls are strong. On the new Scandinavia, when rebuilding, it got into a frozen mess between the lanes - it didn’t even pull anywhere. In the previous set, one wheel was pierced, in the tread area, apparently, something sharp ran into something (April, everything melted), they put a tourniquet, another winter went away without problems. As for the spikes, after 5 seasons there were about 15% of the spikes left. This rubber needs to be rolled, as I now understand, 500-600 km. So far, I've been driving since the end of November - nothing has fallen out yet. Seems. =) I can definitely recommend, the car turns into a tractor, which is especially important in the conditions of winter St. Petersburg . =/

Pros
  • The first set went away for 5 winters, I got a new one for 2022/19. Rows, controls, manages, slows down.
Cons
  • Noisy, but that's not a problem for me.
