Review on 🚽 Zoeller Waste-Mate 267-0001 Sewage Pump: 1/2 HP Automatic- Heavy-Duty Submersible for Sewage, Effluent, or Dewatering by Aaron Masek

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This thing easily weighs 25 pounds on a fancy 3 year old pump.

To be honest I didn't need a septic tank. My application actually only needed a sewage pump, which is actually just water saturated with bacteria. That being said, I'm a big believer in Murphy, and the extra $100 for digesting 2-inch solids with a cast-iron impeller was my cup of tea. Seriously, who wants to do that twice? A mini-letterwoman brought it to the front. Veranda 2 days after my booking. How such a small woman manages an uncomfortable 40 pound box I don't know. This thing easily handles 25 pounds with a fancy 3 year old pump that the owners installed before me. Using a hose, it takes over 15 minutes to fill my 4ft x 4ft holding tank enough to turn on the pump. This kid pumps it through a 2-inch line in just over a minute, drawing a respectable 8.4 amps. A few suggestions: 1. Buy new PVC pipe and a new float switch if you have a high water alarm. Only $25 and a lot less crap.2. Install a new synthetic rope that is too strong. Tie it in a granny knot that will make a scout leader cry. 2. The huge 36 inch collars are bees' knees. Buy a few for this job and you'll find another use. 3. Waterproof connectors prevent the connections from corroding and rework. They are sold by several companies and appear to be the same. sphere and pay $20 each. Don't forget the male and female ends.
