🚽 Zoeller Waste-Mate 267-0001 Sewage Pump: 1/2 HP Automatic- Heavy-Duty Submersible for Sewage, Effluent, or Dewatering Review

This is a solid wire and 2 inch solid suction pump. It has a built in shut off float and switch (which is why it is a single piston pump). This is not a mill pump. This is a vane pump. It does not pump sanitary napkins. It is heavy cast iron with a plastic pump blade. The outlet port is threaded for a 2" ABS male threaded spigot. Has a 3 year factory warranty. There is a massive folding handle on the top of the pump.

My last Zoeller pump lasted 15 years with intensive daily use, 2 laundry rooms and 2 bathrooms. Eventually it stopped working. I was very happy to find an exact match so none of the drain and vent pipes had to be replaced to fit the new pump. I hope this one lasts just as long. When we pulled the old one out, it looked like new from the outside. The paintwork was in perfect condition, there was no rust on it. Just some sludge on the pump housing near the bottom.

The pump is a beast! Good float design. The only negative I can say is that the packaging is not suitable for the weight of the product. Revain's shipping department seems to be missing something super heavy. The U-bolt was slightly bent in transit without protection, but ok I bent it back and dropped the suction cup in the fountain! Also note that the cord on this pump is slightly shorter than my old Flo Tech pump which had a long 16 foot cord. Not sure how long it is but I would guess around 10ft, so outside of the pool it's around 7ft. It barely reaches my outlet and the instructions say not to use an extension cord. So measure first.

I ordered this after reading many reviews about it. It appears to be the same sewage pump that plumbers install in their homes.
