I've been using this bottle consistently for a little over a week so it's time for a review. I LOVE the bottle design! It looks great, feels great and is very modern. The colors they come in are perfect. The fact that a loop/handle is built into the cap is a very important feature. The tip that you use to drink through the straw is very soft, making it very comfortable to drink from. I definitely like the way the cap presses the tip against the bottle to keep it clean. The easy-release button provides quick access to the drinking tip. The bottle's cap unscrews quickly to allow the user to fill it with water and optionally add ice. Also, the straw is very easy to remove but stays securely in place. Thanks to the overall design of the bottle and the soft bottom, there is no condensation! Install and forget it and you will be satisfied with a ring-free finish. Now the most interesting. I travel a lot for work and always had to drink water from public fountains when I didn't feel like it. resort to purchasing this bottle of branded water for $1.69. Some of the fountains were ok but some of them definitely gave you that aftertaste and it was just awful. That $1.69 adds up very quickly when you can get an entire case for $3-4. Buying a bottle of water just for convenience is a very bad investment. In less than a month, your bottle of water per day will cover the cost of this filter bottle, which will last for several months before the filter needs to be replaced. I've used this thing with tap water, stored tap water, stored water wells and it hasn't let me down! It's not just a filtered water bottle, it's an economical solution. The company that makes this bottle recommends replacing the included coconut filter every 300 refills, or about 30 days, depending on how often you use it. Replacement coconut filters come in a two-pack for $8. When you buy this water bottle and two-piece filter like I did, you're instantly guaranteed about 9 months of great-tasting water from almost anywhere you go for less than $30! After this initial investment, you will never have to pay for water again. And as I forgot to mention, although the filter used in this bottle is made from coconut, it has absolutely no "fancy taste" like some people have asked me.
