I'm not sure what people typically use them for but I wanted to use them to hold a tarp/canopy over a pergola. I used ORANGE Bungee for this task. After a few months in the sun they started to fall apart. He also turned very pale. Some kind of crap. For internal/temporary use I'm sure they're great. However, be aware that the sun will destroy these elastic cords. I thought I took a photo to upload but I can't find it. But it was DIRTY. The shredded and crumbling cords inside began turning almost to a white powder. So be careful.
